So what brings us all together to become Plastic Parts?
Here is a short of each member and how they got here.

Shawn has a long musical background that finally brings
him into this current band setting. He was trained
professionally in a chorale setting by Mr. Richard Curry.  He
sang in Madrigal groups, concert choirs, All-State Choirs,
Chorale Delaware. From there he moved into an A-Capella
group called the Y Chromes.  He had taken a small hiates
from live music and accepted an internship at Y100 where
he was fortunate enough to work with the Preston and Steve
Show. He then started his original band called "Twin
Alarms". After a few years playing, he has gone from guitar
to keys and vocals in Plastic Parts.

ABOUT THE BAND...

Jessica Bratton 2006
I've been playing guitar for about 12 years and my main
influences while learning to play were metal bands such as
Metallica, Pantera, and Ozzy Osbourne. Eventually I
discovered the music of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. These
two guitar players have been my main influences since then.

My gear is a pretty straight forward. I play two Ibanez guitars.
One is an Ibanez JS2000. This is a Joe Satriani signature
model and I use it for standard tuning. My second guitar is an
Ibanez JEM7V, this is similar to the guitar Steve Vai plays. I
use that guitar for half-step down tuning.
We have lost contact with Al, all we know is this picture
was taken and sent to us with the address written in
crayon. If you have any knowledge on the
where-abouts of Al, please send him in bubble wrap
to the address under the contact link page. Thank You.
Jay's vocal training started at a very young age. He began
his career singing out front of his fathers barber shop in
Kansas City. He was discovered there by the Vienna Boys
Choir director. After being shipped off to Italy for a few
years, his father bought him back and signed him up for
China's version of "American Idol" known as "You Wish
You Were William Hung". Jay placed third in the
competition following William Hung himself and Haley
Joel Osment. While on tour with the show Jay met up with
PP Drummer Al Pennington where they started "Artificial
Reason". After the band parting ways, this led him to his
current situation of Plastic Parts.
Bernies past is quite, well.......different.
Please see Bernie in person to answer this
question. Thank You.
